backgrounder | overview and FAQs | energy and environmental innovations | photo gallery |

The new Vaughan Civic Centre Campus constituting of a series of low-rise buildings on a ten-hectare site brings together municipal activities and a variety of community, cultural and recreational services in one integrated location.

Applying “Green Building” technologies, the construction of Vaughan’s new City Hall reflects a commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development.

When completed later this year, the municipal campus will provide central focus for Vaughan’s five communities and all of its residents. The Civic Centre Campus will also be the site of a new Reference Library housing the Access Kyoto Collection, an interactive environmental learning centre.
