Placement of materials:

For easy identification for the contractor, please have clear separation for each waste stream (i.e: leaf and yard, recycling etc.)

Ensure all materials placed out for collection are in accordance with the City's set out requirements.

Please place your collectible materials at the curbside for collection. Do not place collectible materials on the road, as it may pose a hazard to vehicular traffic.

Keep waste materials separate from your neighbours.

  Winter placement of materials:
Blue boxes, green bins and garbage containers/bags must be placed on the RIGHT SIDE of the driveway and set back approximately 0.9 m. to (3 ft) from the curbside. The RIGHT SIDE of the driveway is defined as the right side when standing at the curb and facing the house. This will reduce the possibility of garbage, green bin and blue box materials being buried under the pile of snow left by the wind or snow removal vehicles.

Set out requirements:
Refer to the appropriate section (garbage etc.) for set out requirements.
