| Ms. Suzanne Craig was appointed the City of Vaughan's
Integrity Commissioner on February 24, 2009.
Ms. Craig is primarily responsible for ensuring the codes of behaviour
and ethics governing elected public officials are objectively communicated
and applied. This is a critical role in maintaining public confidence
in Vaughan's government.
In this part-time position, the Integrity Commissioner works with
the Accountability and Transparency Committee, which was established
to review current policies and practices, the Code of Conduct of
Members of Council, and confidentiality, accountability and transparency
regarding City Council.
