400 NORTH EMPLOYMENT LANDS STUDY
Purpose:
A comprehensive land use study for the lands east and west of Highway
400, north of Teston Road to the Township of King boundary. The
purpose of this study is:
-
To prepare a secondary plan, zoning by-law and urban design
guidelines for the study area; and
-
to establish the case for a request to the Region of York to
expand the City's current Urban Boundary in this area to permit
development of employment lands to proceed.
Timeframe:
The study commenced in Summer 2005.
