Message to the Ward 4 Community

I want to sincerely thank you for your trust and confidence in electing me as your Ward 4 Councillor. I am both humbled and honoured to have had the opportunity to serve and represent you for the past seven years, and I look forward to continuing to work on your behalf for the next four years.
 
I am proud to have helped bring positive additions to Concord/Thornhill North, including a new state-of-the-art community centre, parks and sport fields, entertainment and shopping facilities and an expansion of City services.  With the current construction of the Spadina-York subway extension and the beginning of the planning and development of our future downtown area, we have a lot to look forward to. 

As residents and businesses, you have played an integral role in these achievements, and I thank you for your ongoing support as we build on our momentum.  At the same time, I recognize that we still face many challenges, including finding solutions to traffic gridlock, making public transit available and affordable, repairing and building much-needed infrastructure and, of course, ensuring excellent, cost-effective delivery of the municipal services on which our community relies.

I look forward to continuing to represent and work with you and to ensuring that our community is a safe, vibrant and liveable City for all to enjoy.  Together, we can continue to transform Vaughan into a successful, beautiful and sustainable metropolis – a place we can all be proud to call our home.
