Licensing Enforcement Officers conduct random inspections to ensure that vehicles owners and operators meet the requirements under the City of Vaughan licensing By-law. Some of these qualifications include successfully completed written examinations for certain operators, confirmation of valid insurance, mechanical safety checks and regular health inspections for vehicles. Officers patrol streets daily to seek out unlicensed vehicles, monitor licensed vehicles and enforce the City's Licensing By-law.
