Parking and Sign Control Officers perform enforcement duties 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year, overseeing all roads, boulevards and sidewalks within the City of Vaughan. Our Parking and Sign Control Officers provide a proactive and reactive service to the citizens of Vaughan. They patrol the City to ensure that by-laws are being complied with as well as investigating complaints by responding to the concerns of those individuals that have contacted the City regarding a specific concern in their area. This Unit investigates approximately 1,200 parking related complaints each year. This Unit is also responsible for enforcing the provisions of the City of Vaughan Sign By-Law across the city. In 2008 over 9,000 placards signs and stickers were removed from intersections across the city.
