CRIME PREVENTION THROUGH ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN (CPTED) PROGRAM

The CPTED Program provides a common sense approach to crime prevention. It is the proper design and effective use of the built environment which can lead to a reduction in the fear and incidence of crime as well as an improvement in the quality of life.

For further information on CPTED and how it affects your community park, please contact Robert Leonardis, Safe City Coordinator in the Parks and Forestry Department at 905-832-8577 ext. 6172

Crime Prevention is Everyone's Responsibility!
